This is a video I watched last night that presents interesting cases as to why we must be able to cope with the reduction in oil use, and just some of the ways that we might do that, (as opposed to sitting back and waiting for the oil-pocalypse to occur).
It's well worth a watch, slightly over-technical at times (if you're not a uni-professor) but never the less, there are some interesting points raised.
This will take about 20 minutes of your time to watch.
